$18M Being Spent to Redesign Recovery.gov Web Site
Any question that our government has not a freaking clue! What does an $18,000,000 website look like? Well, we’re about to find out. Ok, Ok, a 9,500,000 facelift by January.
“We are pleased that another major milestone has been achieved,” Earl E. Devaney, chairman of the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board, says in the press release. “We thank the GSA for its assistance and look forward to working with Smartronix.”
The real irony here is that the taxpayer, in the name of ‘transparency’ will still not be able to dicern where or what the money is being spent on. Have you been to the site?
The architects of this site are very good, as is our President, in saying a lot without really saying anything!
Google only cost 100,000 at it’s inception…and it’s useful.
Shameful
